Coach alfred

Experienced. Certified.

Jose Alfred Munoz II or Coach AL as he is better known, was born in Odessa, Tx. He played football from elementary to high school. He was also involved with the powerlifting team. After high school, Coach Al joined the Marine Corps where he did a tour in Iraq. Alfred was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in 2003. After the marines, he went back to his hometown and attended college at the local college and began working in the oil field. In August 2010 Alfred got accepted into the San Antonio fire academy. Alfred moved his family to San Antonio and gradated the fire academy in February 2011 and is currently working with the fire department. Alfred became heavily involved in coaching youth football and training athletes. Alongside of coaching, he also competes in powerlifting with the American powerlifting federation and the United States Powerlifting Association. Alfred is currently a USPA certified powerlifting coach and a State referee. He holds certifications with ISSA and is a level 1 club coach with United State America Powerlifting.   Alfred received his bachelor’s degree in Sport and Health Science: General Concentration from American Military University and is currently continuing his education there in the master’s program in “athletic development”. Alfred has 20+  years in fitness and eight years coaching.
